Chrysler 300K - 1964, The Largest sales



Next car in Letter series production line was Chrysler 300K. Production started in 1964.

Nineteen sixty-four was a record sales year for the three-hundred letter series. 300K had two engines. A 413 cu in (6.8 L) Wedge with a single 4-barrel carburetor, a regular intake manifold, and 360 hp (268 kW) was the new standard engine. And a cross-ram inducted 390 horsepower 413cid V-8 was optional. Silver 300 was a mid-year special in 1964. 2-door hardtop with special metallic silver paint, a vinyl canopy roof and included a custom bucket-seat interior with a reclining passenger seat. Convertible returned to the three-hundred letter series after taking a break in 1964. Total of 3022 coupes and 625 convertibles were sold. The largest sales in the letter series.
