Chrysler 300L - 1965, The end of letter series

Chrysler 300L continued the letter series line, but it was the last in this series. 300L experienced full restyle. It was given smoother but linear sleek body. Absolutely different headlights and grill made it absolutely innovative car in car design.
Changes were made in engine too. The cross-ram engine was no more available. 300L's were produced with standard carburation and inlet manifold.
But a customer could order any option and feature he liked. Engine and gearbox remained the same.
300L had quite large sales as the 300K, 2405 coupes and 440 convertibles total.
