The first Chrysler 300 - 1955 C-300
As we knew about the letter series had letters form alphabetas a suphix. But the firs car in letter series had a different name, not 300A but C-300. "C" ment Chrysler in this model.
C-300 was on of the powerfull cars in US in 1950's. Equipped with 5.4 L FirePower HEMI V8 producing 360 HP. It was the first car in that ages producing 360 HP. This car had twin 4-barrel carburetors, a race-profiled camshaft setup, solid valve lifters, stiff suspension, and a performance exhaust system.
From the outside C-300 was a mixture of different Chrysler cars, the Imperial, WIndsor and the New Yorker. But C-300 was one of the fastest cars with top speed of 127 MPH (205 KMH).
The external mirrors were removed because of the drag race. There were only 1725 C-300's built.
