300J - 1963. The mixture

300J was the next in Chrysler Letter Series production line, as the model "I" was abandoned.
Production of this car began in 1963. Car was once more restyled and was given more angular look, as it was in 60's. Smoother body was also abandoned. "short-ram" engine was also taken out of production the only engine available was "long-ram" engine 6.8l from 1962 models, but with 10 more horse power. Transmission remained the smae standard 4 speed manual. In 300J convertibles were no more available and remained only coupes. It had a strange square steering wheel.
It was a bit faster, then the older versions with 142mph (229 kmh) and 0-60 in 8.0 seconds. It ran quarter mile in 15.8 seconds and accelerated to 89mph (143kmh). But besides the sales were very poor only 400 coupes sold.
